Starting from Zero, Building with Passion
At 28, I made the decision to move to the United States, leaving behind a thriving career, a long-term relationship, and my entire family. I left a full life and started over from scratch. When I say zero, I mean it—I had to learn a new language, embrace a different culture, and work a series of jobs to make ends meet. But with time, I adapted, and while I may have been born somewhere else, my adult years and experiences in the States have shaped me just as much.
Life changed beautifully when I met my husband. Together, we built a family, welcoming two wonderful children and our beloved dogs. It was around this time that I also found my passion in interior design, and with it, my purpose. I worked hard, learned, trained, and practiced relentlessly. Step by step, I built my career and my confidence around my passion, creating spaces that are both functional and beautiful for others to enjoy.
But here’s the truth—I still speak with a heavy accent, and my English isn’t perfect. When clients have the option between me and a native English speaker, I know the decision isn’t always favor me. I might not use fancy words, but my commitment, expertise, and vision speak for me. Yes, it means working twice as hard, but I’m okay with that because I know what I’m capable of. I welcome every challenge, knowing that I have what it takes.
Belief in oneself can move mountains, and I’m living proof that with dedication, resilience, and passion, you can build something meaningful no matter where you start.
